# Brownian

> Brownian is a decentralized perpetual exchange where traders can access perpetual markets tracking crypto, stocks, indices, FX, and commodities from their wallets.

Brownie Points are Brownian's points program. Traders earn Brownie Points through eligible trading and direct referrals. Each week distributes a fixed pool of 10,000,000 Brownie Points, split by weight. A wallet's weekly weight is its own eligible trading weight plus its direct referral weight. Direct referral weight equals 20% of a direct invitee's eligible trading weight earned after their first verified referral binding. It is not 20% of the invitee's Brownie Points. Referrals count one level only, with no thresholds or caps, and profit and loss does not affect Points. A week with no eligible weight is finalized as Void and issues zero Points. Brownie Points score the Season. When the Season ends, Points convert to $BRO, targeted no later than Q4 2026 with final timing subject to market conditions. The exact conversion method will be published at token launch. Points are not transferable or sellable and have no cash value.
